Professor Nicholas C Norman - Bristol ChemLabS Chief Executive

Nick Norman obtained both BSc and PhD degrees in chemistry from the University of Bristol, the latter in 1982.

In 1995 he was appointed to a Readership in Inorganic Chemistry in the School of Chemistry at the University of Bristol after a period of post-doctoral study in the USA, one year as a temporary lecturer at the University of Manchester and ten years at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

He served as Director of Undergraduate Studies in the School of Chemistry at Bristol from 2000-2003 and became Head of the Inorganic and Materials Chemistry Section in 2003.

In 2005 he was appointed as Chief Executive of Bristol ChemLabS.

He was promoted to Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in 2006.
