26 November Perfume Chemistry Workshop, Badminton School
A "Perfume Chemistry Workshop" trial was held on the 26th of November at Badminton School. John Stephen the perfumer and owner of the Cotswold Perfumery engaged a group of Post 16 students in the theory behind perfume construction, how the industry works, careers and how best to use buy and store perfumes.

A major section of the day was given over to the creation of individual perfumes and their packaging by each of the students present.
The event was partly sponsored by Bristol ChemLabS and following this successful trial, further workshops are planned, including a session for School of Chemistry undergraduate students in February.
