Dudley Shallcross and Tim Harrison presented at this well attended Saturday morning meeting, held at the University of Bath. Over 70 primary and secondary teachers and student teachers were present. Dudley and Tim provided two events as part of the programme 'How Science Really Works!' for the Association for Science Education (ASE).

The meeting was supported by the Regional Science Learning Centre South West.
The keynote lecture was an abridged version of the lecture demonstration 'A Pollutant's Tale' and the second was a workshop for primary school teachers. The workshop, entitled 'Creative Classroom Chemistry for Primary Schools', showcased some of the circus of experiments that Bristol ChemLabS can take into primary schools for pupils in years 5 and 6. The workshop enabled primary teachers to try out some of the experiments for themselves - albeit in a very short timeChildren enjoying their day at Explore@Bristol.
