Primary Science Online Quiz

The Online Science Quiz uses the University's virtual learning environment which can be accessed by primary schools. The quiz, aimed at Y5 and Y6 primary students, is a mix of questions related to the relevant sections of the NC for science and questions linked to understanding of specified web pages. All participants will be sent a certificate, gold (Au), silver (Ag) or bronze (Cu/Sn) according to their performance. Primary teachers have also used the quiz to assess their pupils' IT skills.

Schools will be able to enrol their pupils to take the quiz in any preferred month and will receive the results a month later. The cost will be £2 per pupil.
This outreach activity is one of several provided by the School of Chemistry, University of Bristol to enthuse pupils and support both primary and secondary teachers.
