* Outreach Director wins a RSC Higher Education Teaching Award for 2005 - 03/05/05

Dudley ShallcrossDr Dudley Shallcross, Outreach director for Bristol ChemLabS has won a Royal Society of Chemistry Higher Education Teaching Award for 2005. He is the second member of staff at the School of Chemistry to win such an award in the past three years, Dr Paul May winning the award in 2002 for his work on "Teaching Chemistry using the Web".

The citation reads, "Dr Dudley Shallcross for developing innovative materials and methods in higher education, particularly for teaching at the interface between A-Levels and undergraduate studies."
